I’ve read somewhere (probably when searching idioms and metaphores) that when Stanley Kubrick listened to someone who said the typical ‘you can’t polish a turd’, answered rapidly and sharply: ‘you can if you freeze it’
And I found this quite interesting, as I was dealing with ‘shit’ in the previous post.
