Well, this is a childish-made monoprint of a fiver (a note of 5 pounds) featuring the Queen of England. I’ve said childish because it’s not a proper monoprint; it was made with no press so the way to trasfer the ink onto the surface of the green paper was with a pencil (like when you’re using copying papers). That’s the way we use the College’s print facilities that are worth 6,ooo pounds a year. The reasons for brain drainage in UK are becoming more and more obvious. Anyway, with a fiver you could top up your Oyster card (3,5 bus journeys) or buy 2,25 take-away coffeelatte. That’s a fiver!
